The purpose of this course is to play and experiment with the areas of silence in the literature. Speaking of literary silence does not contradict this world that at first seems composed only of words.
But what is the literary silence: Bubbles? Empty? Transcripts "? "Afterlife? "Ellipsis? "Synthesis? Do you irrational? Did reasonably hidden? Does the plot? Will the sleight? Does the plot? Does the structure? ...? No doubt this is and especially something more, something almost inexplicable that only the thread of a text is impossible to understand.
Find out what kind of silence surround us, how we deal with them and whether we can find ways to express them, will be the challenge of this course.
Methodology and objectives This course attempts to combine theory and practical experience, and especially involvement and personal commitment to get closer to the literary silence. We intend to reach the following objectives: Recognize
noise in the texts. Deciphering
voiceless elements involved in literature. Learn
strip the language of resonances. Get
transversality, the power to narrate the events from the margins.
We want to reach the maximum and intangible expression which has the silence, and the connection of sensations that can not be translated into words.
Program Four working sessions of two hours each. Session I
Reflection on noise, words and silence.
Silence in literature. The transition from noise to silence.
reading texts with plenty of exercises that emulate
noise readings - full of noise - the noise to phase out gradually.
Session II Demystifying "The Word."
symbolism as a form of silence, or the symbolism loaded resonances. Elements
voiceless involved in the text.
