The workshop is that each group member will make his own instrument, a hollow wooden djembe drum by hand

Duration of workshop:

-12 2 hour classes

Part One:

Proper use of tools safety, care and sharpening.

Curing of wood, measures of the piece, an overview of the African drum.

Part Two:

trunk hollowed out and carved wood, sanding and finishing of the piece. Armed

hardware, string drum, Patching, refined finish.
